The blog for cockatiels and their humans, with information and entertainment on bird, tiel and human issues.
Here is his description of the blog: The musings of J. L. LeMone, an intelligent and critical cockatiel, about daily life, tiel issues, news, education, the world, and life in general.
Sadly, J.L. passed away on June 14, 2007. Tiel Weekly continues as an informational and entertaining blog in his honor.
Miss Prissy, a young, beautiful pearl cockatiel, shared J.L.'s life and cage for more than five years. She grew up in a house with many cockatiels, and she enjoys the attention she gets as a special pet. She is very loyal, patient and gentle, and she enjoys eating millet spray and spending time with her human.
Carrera is a young pied cockatiel who flies as fast as a race car and sings as well as an opera singer. He never met J.L. in person, but knows about him from his blog entries. He enjoys sunlight, honey treats, and all the coming and going in the apartment. He likes to try out new things, and he is a very quick learner. Sitting on the humans' shoulders is his favorite pastime.
The Tall One is a human, but she cares very much about cockatiels. She likes to read, write, listen to music, and play with tiels and other animals. She is currently assuming interim editor duties until Tiel Weekly can once again be run by winged writers.

Ooh, I got a 90. I missed the question on what to do when your tiel flies outside. I didn't know hosing a birdie would be a good thing (hmmm). That quiz was pretty hard.
T-man (with help from mom)
Good job, T-man! I can tell that you learned a lot from CC-man! Yes, we cockatiels are good influences.
I thought the quiz was hard, too, even for me! I didn't like the idea of being hosed down, either, and I did not know that citrus fruits were not good for me, but that peanut butter is okay. Since I'm a picky eater, I don't really care, but I'm afraid that peanut butter might make my beak stick together! I certainly won't try it.
Miss Prissy will try anything, though, so I always wait to see if she likes something new the Tall One puts in our cage, and if she does, then I try it, too.
Thanks ffor writing
