Get Well Soon, CC-Man!
I just received some alarming news: My tiel buddy CC-Man got sick and had to go to the doctor. T-Man wrote all about it in his blog. Now, I know dogs and humans seem to get sick quite frequently and have to go to the doctor, but we cockatiels are usually the picture of health. Sure, I've read about other tiels getting sick on occasion, and I know that a sick bird needs to go to the doctor immediately, but I've never personally known a tiel who fell ill. Worse yet, CC-Man has to take medication, and he does not even have the Cool One around to help him take it! I am very worried about him.
CC-Man, I hope you feel better soon! Make sure your human and T-Man take good care of you! Let us know how you are doing!

Oh, thank you for your get well post!! CC-man is doing much better today. We still don't know what made him throw up. Maybe it was from a piece of roll that Mom gave him that he never tried before??
Mom said she met a lady in the hospital waiting room who had a tiel that got sick a lot. Her birdie was only 5 years old too. Her mom found her in the corner of a pet store all alone, and probably not well-cared for. Her mom rescued her, but now they are struggling with her birdies health problems. The birdie was lucky to find such a nice mom.

Hi T-Man!
I'm so happy to hear that CC-Man is feeling better. How often does he have to take his medicine? I can imagine that he does not like taking it at all. I certainly would bite the Tall One if she tried to make me take anything!
It's nice to hear that some humans care so much about birds and that they rescue them from bad situations. We cockatiels deserve the best possible care, and I'm glad that at least some of the humans realize that. The lady sounds very nice.
