Our friend Andrew at Bird A Day Blog, who featured J.L. LeMone on his blog in January, posted a tribute in his honor. Thank you, Andrew, for remembering my little tiel.

Sad News
I just found out that my friends T-Man and CC-Man lost their grandpa (their human's dad). If you have been visiting their blog, you know that he has been having some health issues lately, and it is sad to hear that he passed away. I know T-Man especially is sad, because he visited his grandpa a lot, even in the hospital and the nursing home, and of course, his human must be very upset. If you would like to read T-Man's post and leave a message under "Comments", I'm sure it would make my friends feel a little better.
T-Man and CC-Man, I am sorry for your loss! Please pass my condolences on to your Mom as well.

My Blog Buddies: T-Man and CC-Man
Ever since I have been blogging, I have met some wonderful birds, dogs, and humans around the world. It's nice to be able to exchange thoughts with other people. Two of my internet friends are T-Man the Poodle and CC-Man the Cockatiel who live in a far away place called Chicago. Here are some of their pictures:
T-Man is the black fluffy thing CC-Man is walking around on. Here is a better picture of him:
If you have been reading my blog faithfully, as you should, you probably remember that CC-Man was sick a little while ago, and I'm happy to report that he's much better. To read more about my furry and feathered friends, go to the link under "Blog Buddies" to T-Man's Precious Poodle blog. T-Man posts a lot of pictures not only of himself, but also of CC-Man the Cockatiel. I have to write all my own posts, but CC-Man has a secretary!
My favorite blog post so far is a series of pictures that show CC-Man first eating out of his seed dish, and then throwing it. Here is the link. Enjoy!

Cockatiel / Quarrion / Nymphicus Hollandicus / Nymphensittich / Perruche Calopsitte / Calopsita / Cacatúa Ninfa o Carolina
We tiels are very popular around the world, and we go by many names. In the English-speaking world, we are known as Cockatiels; in Australia, also as Quarrions. Our proper Latin name is Nymphicus Hollandicus. In German-speaking countries, we are called Nymphensittich. Our francophone friends call us Perruche Calopsitte. In the Spanish-speaking world, we are known as Cacatúa Ninfa or Cacatúa Carolina. In Italian and Portuguese, our name is Calopsita.
I'm very excited to report that I have alreay had visitors from many different countries, including the United States of America, Canada, Britain, Australia, France, Germany, Austria, Mexico, Spain, Tunesia, Qatar, Sweden, Croatia, India, China, Japan, and Malaysia. Just today, Andrea and her cockatiel Jackie from Brazil stopped by!
With so many names and so many friends around the world, some of whom have already visited my blog, I want to include more international information, and I am going to begin by putting some resources together for my friends in the French, German, and Spanish speaking realms, with others to follow. Watch for future posts that feature links in these languages!
Merci! Thank you! Danke! Gracias! Grazie!

Get Well Soon, CC-Man!
I just received some alarming news: My tiel buddy CC-Man got sick and had to go to the doctor. T-Man wrote all about it in his blog. Now, I know dogs and humans seem to get sick quite frequently and have to go to the doctor, but we cockatiels are usually the picture of health. Sure, I've read about other tiels getting sick on occasion, and I know that a sick bird needs to go to the doctor immediately, but I've never personally known a tiel who fell ill. Worse yet, CC-Man has to take medication, and he does not even have the Cool One around to help him take it! I am very worried about him.
CC-Man, I hope you feel better soon! Make sure your human and T-Man take good care of you! Let us know how you are doing!

Bird a Day Blog
Bonjour!
I just found out about another human who dedicates his time to us birds. His name is Andrew, and he has a blog called Bird a Day, where he features a picture of a beautiful bird almost every day! Some of them include videos. Check it out!
Of course, what would a blog about beautiful birds be without a picture of moi? I was very happy to see that my picture is today's feature!
Merci, Andrew!
